Mark Benady is the Managing Director of RSM Gibraltar. With over 35 years of experience in the profession, Mark oversees an impressive portfolio of clients that includes international groups of companies, financial services providers, insurance brokers, property developers, healthcare providers, and charitable institutions.

Born and raised in Gibraltar, Mark graduated from Manchester University with a BSc in Computer Science and Accounting (Hons). He began his career training in the Manchester office of KPMG, gaining valuable audit experience before transferring to KPMG’s Gibraltar office in 1990. There, he handled a wide-ranging client base, including international construction companies and banks. In 1992, Mark established his own practice, which he successfully led until 2007. He then co-founded the Benady Cohen & Co group with Moe Cohen, which subsequently became RSM Gibraltar.

Mark is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and is licensed by the Financial Services Commission (FSC) to act as both a Statutory Auditor and an Insolvency Practitioner. He believes that in a profession increasingly under scrutiny, a commitment to high-quality work is imperative. Mark’s leadership style fosters a positive environment where staff are motivated and clients are treated with the utmost respect and integrity.

deeply committed to the local community, Mark serves as the Chairman of the Board of Governors for a local private high school and is a member of the Gibraltar Charities Commission. He also contributes to the advancement of the profession as a member of the Tax Faculty and the Insolvency Faculty of the Gibraltar Society of Accountants.
