John Elliote Zapanta is a Manager and Certified Public Accountant at RSM Gibraltar. He leads end-to-end audit engagements, assesses internal controls, and provides strategic insights to improve operational efficiency, financial accuracy, and regulatory compliance.

John supports a diverse portfolio of clients across the insurance, gaming, hospitality, real estate, maritime, and funds industries. His comprehensive work spans external audits, internal audits, and financial risk advisory. By understanding the unique challenges his clients face, he helps organisations strengthen their controls and improve their financial performance.

He began his career as an Audit Associate at Reyes Tacandong & Co., the RSM member firm in the Philippines, eventually progressing to Senior Audit Associate. John then transitioned into corporate finance as a Finance Associate Manager. Following this, he advanced into internal audit leadership as an Internal Audit Supervisor. This extensive background equips him with the experience needed to mentor high-performing teams and build strong, trusted client relationships.
