RSM Mozambique is recruiting a Technical Sales and Operations Manager for a client based in Maputo, for immediate integration.

 

Position: Technical Sales and Operations Manager

Location:  Maputo

 

Responsibilities:

⇒  Develop and maintain relationships and adhere to calling frequencies;

⇒  Complete/Update the customer information as set out for customer take on credit limits and contact details;

⇒  Participate in weekly calls. Weekly report containing market activities and sales analysis including variances and understanding trends Emailed to Manager;

⇒  Collect the debtor’s book in the budgeted outstanding days set by the Finance Dept. to enforce the company credit policy and assist in the recovery of bad debts etc.;

⇒  Ensure optimum Yeast stock levels are maintained and replenished;

⇒  Control Inventory levels with daily and weekly stock counts against stock issues;

⇒  Ensure stock temperatures are maintained and recorded during storage and Distribution to customer;

⇒  Ensure Asset optimization i.e Routing, calling and travelling;

⇒  Vehicle Maintenance and roadworthiness;

⇒  Fuel management and vehicle efficiencies;

⇒  Management of People;

⇒  Maintaining of suppliers including 3 quotes on all purchases;

⇒  Budgets – control and monitoring;

⇒  HACCP – requirements;

⇒  Adhere to all procedures and requirements;

⇒  Signatory on Bank accounts;

⇒  Assist in Cash Management process;

⇒  Adopt and Execute all Rymco policies and procedures.

 

Qualifications and Professional Experience:

⇒  Tertiary qualification in sales, operations management and/or food/baking fields;

⇒  5+ years of experience;

⇒  Mozambique Market Knowledge;

⇒  Fluent in Portuguese and English.

 

Skills and Competencies:

 

⇒  Good interpersonal skills for customer and relevant relationship management;

⇒  Ability to operate without direct supervision;

⇒  Negotiate trading terms;

⇒  Logical Thinking and computer literate (Excel/Word/ERP - Syspro/PV);

⇒  Promote and negotiate pricing at customer level;

⇒  Good interpersonal skill and the ability to lead a team;

⇒  Ability to negotiate.
