As an Accounting Associate at RSM UAE, you will work with a wide range of clients across industries, developing a solid foundation in accounting practices and financial reporting. You’ll build strong client relationships, gain hands-on experience in day-to-day accounting operations, and contribute to multiple engagements, supporting your personal and professional growth within a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the month-end closing process and assist in preparing journal entries.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and review monthly financial statements.
- Perform balance sheet roll-forward analysis.
- Identify accounting issues and assist in applying basic tax compliance procedures.
- Eliminate errors in financial documents, including referencing and formatting.
- Demonstrate awareness of client business environments and industry trends.
- Execute administrative and support tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- UAE National with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting principles.
- 1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles (internships may be considered).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Bilingual in English and Arabic is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- Motivated, team-oriented, and client-focused.
