About the Role:
As an Audit Associate at RSM UAE, you will gain hands-on experience working with clients across a range of industries. You’ll build strong professional relationships and develop a deep understanding of businesses, financial systems, and internal controls. Our associates are given the opportunity to contribute to multiple engagements, enabling broad exposure and faster growth in their careers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand client expectations, business environment, industry trends, internal controls, and accounting systems.
- Gain familiarity with RSM’s audit methodologies and tools.
- Participate in planning and executing audit assignments.
- Assess risks and evaluate internal control systems.
- Perform substantive procedures and tests of controls to identify audit issues.
- Assist in drafting financial statements in accordance with regulatory and firm standards.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver quality service and meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or audit-related roles (internships included).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and teamwork skills.
- Arabic language skills (reading and writing) are an added advantage.
