Tax Partner - International Contact Partner

Jorge Pérez is a Partner at RSM Argentina, the RSM member firm in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He has both responsibilities as Head of the Tax Division of the firm, and as the International Contact Partner for the firm as well.  In his capacity of international contact he works with clients and other RSM member firms addressing the needs of foreign companies doing business in Argentina and the Latin American Region.

Qualitifcations: Certified Public Accountant - RSM Academy Graduate - Professor of the University of Buenos Aires – Taxation Courses.

Jorge has a long relation with the firm.  He joined Estudio Torrent Auditores (afterwards merged into RSM Argentina) in 1983.  His first tasks were within the Accounting, Outsourcing and Assurance Divisions were he gained a good knowledge of accounting issues and a working understanding of financial reporting under both domestic and foreign reporting frameworks.  Later, he joined the Tax Practice where he developed most of his career working with matters such as tax advice and structuring, global compliance services, transfer pricing, business start-ups, international taxation, tax efficient mergers & acquisitions and expatriate taxation.

His native language is Spanish but he is fluent in English and French and has some understanding of Portuguese.
