Internal Audit of Enterprise Wide Risk Management

RSM provides practical training workshops for internal auditors to provide assurance on risk management architecture around business strategy for organizations. The course is BQA accredited.  ERM itself is too wide. For a Ministry of the Government, for example, corruption is a risk.  We can design a course to address internal auditors in this area.  Internal audit will normally provide assurances on three areas:

• Risk management processes, both their design and how well they are working
• Management of those risks classified as ‘key’, including the effectiveness of the controls and other responses to them
• Reliable and appropriate assessment of risks and reporting of risk and control status

The training program has been benchmarked with Internal Audit Practice Standards (The IIA), COSO Framework and ISO 31000 which are leading references for enterprise wide risk management frameworks in both the public and private sector businesses.
