Desert Sand Motel, a pioneer

DESERT SAND MOTEL is the first of its kind in Palapye.  There are very many motels, hotels and guest houses in Palapye, yet Desert Sand Motel was a pioneering effort.  These mammoth efforts come from two generations of the family that owns and manages the motel on a day to day basis.  We understand that it is in fact difficult to think of selling a family business because the family values somewhat-guaranteed financial welfare of next generation much more than the price that might be offered to purchase the business.  Our decades of association with the motel has opened up our mind to appreciate the fact that when family members are jointly involved in a business, the entrepreneurial and management learning that gets imparted to family members can be much more entrenched than reading of tons of manuals.  We are proud to be professionally associated with Desert Sand.
