The 2025 tax year has just ended, and it is now time to file your withholding tax and Individual Tax returns before the deadline.

The filing window for withholding taxes – Pay As You Earn (PAYE) and Other Withholding Taxes (OWHT) is open until 31st July 2025. Employers are required to furnish their employees with tax certificates at the end of each tax year. By filing your annual PAYE return, you will be able to get the ITW8 certificates for your employees to help them file their tax returns on time.

Individual taxpayers are required to file their tax returns within 90 days (or 3 months) of the end of the tax year. Thus, individual tax returns are due now until the 30th September 2025.
