Biography

Founded RSM Botswana in 1985 and committed to make it a Professional Services Firm of Choice Igniting Growth. 

With succession processes in place, Guru makes sincere efforts to be a post heroic leader making and shaping decisions focussing on empowerment of people in RSM who in turn create, deliver and capture value to its ever growting clients. 

Guru has built on his experise from his core functions in Botswana Company Law Practice, Tax, Accouting and Audit to Governance, Risk and Compliance that apply to corporate environment and simultaneously to Business Strategy and Organisational Design and Performance that apply to Start Ups and Small and Medium businesses.  He supports King 4 because in his view it does not distinguish beteween small and big, government and non-government and private and public when it comes to Corporate Governance that captures a wide spectrum from business ethics to business performance through care for society and environment.

Guru is one of the original fellow members and certified auditors of Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants.  He is a Public Interest Entity Auditor registered with Botswana Accountancy Oversight Authority.  He is a Certified Internal Auditor of The IIA, USA and a specialist member of the Institute of Risk Management, UK.  He holds B.Com from the University of Madras, India and is a member of the India Institute of Chartered Accountants.

He is married to Uma who heads Businesoft Systems, Sage and Syspro Business Partners, an independent Software Division of RSM Botswana.  Laasya their daughter, a Chartered and Certfied Public Accountant, is married and settled in California, USA.  Sresht their son, a mechanical engineer lives in Toronto, Canada.
