William Spiteri Bailey

Principal

William Spiteri Bailey is the Principal in charge of risk management services within business advisory.

In January 2002, William set up his own audit and accountancy firm and grew the practice to 25 staff members.  In 2016, Spiteri Bailey & Co. merged with RSM Malta.  Forming part of a Partnership team of 10 principals with over 170 staff members, nowadays William is the Principal in charge of risk management services within business advisory.

William has extensive experience in servicing local and international clients across a wide range of industry sectors.  William has an all-round grasp and knowledge of commercial affairs in Malta and is routinely involved in raising finance for clients, advising on corporate structures, corporate finance and on the preparation of business plans and business valuations, mergers and acquisitions, investment appraisals and feasibility studies.

William is a fellow Member, Council Member, and former President of the Malta Institute of Accountants. He is  also a Council Member on the Malta Chamber of Commerce, and the Chairman of the Service Providers Economic Group and the Financial Services Business Section. William is also a Member of the International Federation of Accountants’(IFAC’s) Small and Medium Practices (SMP) Committee.
