Syed Haque

Audit Director

Syed is a seasoned financial services professional with almost 20 years of experience in senior management roles across professional services, investment management, and fund administration. Most recently, he served as Head of Closed-Ended Fund Operations in Ireland for a leading global fund administrator.

Over the course of his career, Syed has led large, multi-jurisdictional teams and has been instrumental in the successful delivery of complex operational and strategic initiatives. He has also served as a director on the boards of a number of Special Purpose Vehicles (S110s) and Irish Collective Asset-management Vehicles (ICAVs), demonstrating strong governance and oversight capabilities.

Syed possesses substantial audit experience, having conducted and supervised audits in accordance with both International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and U.S. Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (US GAAS). His comprehensive technical knowledge spans multiple accounting frameworks, including International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), U.S. GAAP, Luxembourg GAAP, and FRS 102, enabling him to address a wide range of financial reporting and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.

He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (FCA) and an associate member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Syed also holds a bachelor’s degree in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, United Kingdom.
