Carlos Cerdán is Partner of ESG and Sustainability at RSM.

Expert with more than 15 years of experience in the design and integral implementation of sustainability in all types of companies and sectors.

He is a dynamic and proactive professional who likes big challenges.

Carlos believes that the holistic integration of sustainability (or Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) aspects) in companies allows companies to move towards a model of value creation with stakeholders by developing products and services with a double impact, i.e. economically viable in the short term and socially and environmentally viable in the medium and long term.

Its experience and specialisation in the field of sustainability and ESG focuses on strategic projects such as the design and transversal and integrated implementation of sustainability plans; the preparation of trend detection studies, assessment of sustainability risks and opportunities (materiality studies), the preparation and verification of sustainability reports, non-financial information statements, among others, the identification and contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals, the preparation of carbon footprints, the assessment of ESG contingencies associated with purchasing and sales processes, the drafting of climate risk and opportunity reports, the management and custody of reputational risks and the management of ESG aspects in the supply chain.

His purpose is to contribute, through his experience and commitment, to the change of current models towards more sustainable models by integrating each of the stakeholders both within the organisation and with those with whom it interacts.

He holds a degree in Environmental Sciences and a Master's degree in Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility and provides training in Sustainability and ESG for different organisations and companies.
