Back Without Fear.
In the business world, facing the unknown is part of the journey. A merger, expansion into new markets, internal reorganisation? All these steps generate doubts, tension and, often, fear. But far from paralysing us, this fear can become a lever to move forward, if we have the right allies.
With the support of neuroscientist Ana Ibáñez, we continue a conversation we started with our study ‘The fears of Spaniards’. In this second part we are going to get to know our clients better. We want to listen to them, understand them and accompany them.
And how have we done this?
Three of our bravest clients agreed to live a virtual reality experience designed to awaken their deepest fears, in Room 101, the space inside our offices where it all begins.
Then, they reflected from a neuroscience point of view on how those very real emotions resemble the ones they face running their businesses and having to make decisions every day.
They are:
- Javier Quintana. Co-founder and Co-CEO of Smileat.
- Montserrat Figueras. Owner and CEO of Sita Murt
- Hugo Bertrand. Founder and CEO of Chic & Basic Hotels
Each of them has lived through moments where fear was present. But they didn't run away: they went through it. And we have had the pleasure of being able to accompany them in part of that process.
Because accompanied by fear is less fear.
