Álvaro Fernández is a partner of RSM.

Over the course of more than 15 years working in the audit and assurance field, Álvaro has developed both technical and managerial skills in auditing processes for listed and multinational clients, as well as for smaller, family-owned businesses with an international outlook.

He has provided services to mid-market companies and global clients across a variety of reporting environments, including audits under US GAAP, PCAOB standards, IFRS, International Standards on Auditing (ISA), and local GAAPs of EU member states.

Until 2017, Álvaro was a manager at Deloitte, where he worked with both national and global clients across various sectors, including industrial, energy, and engineering-related industries.

In October 2017, he decided to embark on a personal venture, co-founding Aúna—a local audit and consultancy firm based in Seville—alongside our partner Gabriel Guardiola.

Over the course of eight years, they have successfully established a leading firm, serving high-profile clients in sectors such as automotive, agriculture, services, and industry, as well as non-profit organisations that make significant contributions to charitable activities within the Andalusian region.
