Friday, 26th May 2023: RSM Ireland, the 8th largest accounting and advisory firm in the country, was last night awarded the Large Practice of the Year and Practice of the Year Awards at the 2023 Irish Accountancy Awards.

RSM Ireland, which is also Ireland’s biggest first-generation accounting and advisory firm, was also shortlisted in the Tax Team of the Year and Best Use of Technology in Accountancy & Finance categories, among some of Ireland’s leading firms and practices.

At the awards held last night, RSM Ireland was credited for exceptional growth in the last two years, with revenue growing by 25.5% between 2020 and 2022. In the last eighteen months, headcount has also grown by 25%.

RSM Ireland’s adoption of RSM International’s Blueprint for Growth was commended by the panel for its innovation and strategic approach to enhancing the firm’s offering. RSM Ireland was the first firm outside of the US to pilot the programme, which has involved a new business development process rooted through a series of critical success factors.

John Glennon, Managing Partner of RSM Ireland said: “Winning these awards among such a high calibre of nominees is testament to the strength of our team and in particular their ability to successfully adapt during the last number of years of global uncertainty. Our team has continued to support clients to unlock value, despite operating in an environment of unprecedented change and unpredictability.

“Joining the RSM Global Network in 2016 has given us valuable access to the expertise of international colleagues and to referrals from their networks, making us one of the fastest growing firms in Ireland in both the private and public sector. Today, we work with national and international projects and clients, across a wide range of sectors including the Life Sciences, Financial Services, Public Sector and Technology and Media.

“We have also challenged the norms of the professional services, with the adoption of a hybrid work model firm-wide and year-round recruitment for our award-winning Graduate Programme”, he added.

RSM Ireland also won Graduate Training Programme of the Year in 2022, Advisory Team of the Year in 2019 and both Practice of the Year and Large Practice of the Year in 2018.
