RSM Ireland, the 8th largest accounting firm in Ireland, have been named as winners at the 2018 Irish Accountancy Awards.  After beating off stiff competition, RSM Ireland picked up the prizes for both 'Practice of the Year' and ‘Large Practice of the Year’.

The firm is one of the fastest growing firms in Ireland serving the midmarket with 13 partners and 150 employees. Based across 3 offices in Dublin 6, Portlaoise and Birr, the firm has grown by 20% over the last 12 months and has plans to recruit 25 staff over the next six months. RSM Ireland also plan to hire up to 4 new partners over the next 12 months..

A sustained area of growth for the last number of years has been in the area of Foreign Direct Investment, with 50% of new clients from the last two years coming under this category, many of which are in the technology sector.

In 2017 RSM Ireland won the RSM Member Firm of the Year award which saw them placed ahead of 120 countries around the world. The award, which was confirmed in Berlin at the RSM World Conference in November 2017, was based on evidence of growth, innovative work practices and client service solutions, demonstrating a leadership role in regulations/professional practice, staff initiatives, and active membership in the international network.
