Seán McCarthy

Corporate Tax Partner

Seán McCarthy is a Tax Partner with the firm, with 15 years’ experience of providing corporate tax advisory services to a wide range of domestic and international clients. At RSM Ireland, Sean leads the Technology Industry Group, with his primary practice area being the provision of corporate tax advisory services to large FDI multinational groups, primarily US headquartered groups or private equity backed investments into Ireland, with a particular focus on the technology industry. 

Seán has significant experience working on corporate tax structuring (including IP planning, tax efficient reorganisations, financing etc.), and M&A tax advisory.  

He also leads the Pillar Two team at RSM Ireland, and sits on the RSM Pillar Two Steering Committee. 
Seán is a Chartered Tax Adviser, a Chartered Certified Accountant, and also holds a certificate in Transfer Pricing from the UK Institute of Tax.
