The Opportunity

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Transfer Pricing Semi Senior to join our Transfer Pricing team at RSM (Eastern Africa) Consulting Ltd, Nairobi Office. As a Transfer Pricing Semi Senior, you will be responsible for supporting the execution of transfer pricing assignments including transfer pricing documentation, benchmarking analyses, advisories on transfer pricing and international tax, market research, value chain and supply chain analyses, and assisting with revenue authority audits. The role involves increasing ownership of client engagements while providing technical support to junior team members. You will work collaboratively within a team, carrying out tasks under the guidance and supervision of a Transfer Pricing Manager (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

  • Take the lead in preparing meeting notes and relevant documents before and after client meetings.
  • Prepare transfer pricing documentation including local files, master files, and supporting analyses in compliance with the relevant legislation
  • Perform functional, asset, and risk (FAR) analyses for related-party transactions
  • Conduct economic, comparability, and benchmarking analyses using appropriate databases
  • Support transfer pricing advisory assignments, including restructurings and policy design projects
  • Assist with responses to KRA findings during tax and transfer pricing audits
  • Identify transfer pricing risks and recommend practical, compliant solutions to clients or internal stakeholders
  • Liaise with clients and internal teams to gather information and explain transfer pricing concepts and requirements
  • Prepare clear, accurate, and high quality reports and client deliverables within agreed timelines
  • Review work prepared by junior team members and provide guidance and on‑the‑job coaching
  • Stay updated on changes in Kenyan tax legislation and international transfer pricing developments
  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing sessions and training activities
     

Technical Skills and Knowledge

  • 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in Transfer pricing in a professional services or multinational environment
  • Strong understanding of relevant local and international tax and transfer pricing regulatory framework
  • Experience with data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, SQL) is a plus. 

Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law, or Tax  from an accredited university
  • Must have a professional certification (CPA (K), ACCA, CFA)
