The Opportunity

We are looking for a dynamic and analytical Transaction Advisory Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will support the execution of transaction advisory engagements, including financial due diligence, business valuations, corporate restructuring, and financial consulting assignments. This role is ideal for a professional seeking to build a career in deal advisory while gaining exposure to a wide range of industries and transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of transaction advisory engagements, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and fundraising transactions
  • Assist in conducting research, financial due diligence & analysis, and financial & operational performance of target companies
  • Assist to perform financial analysis, business valuations and industry research to support client engagements
  • Assist and maintain financial models and perform quantitative analysis to support decision-making
  • Assist to prepare client deliverables, including reports, presentations and transaction-related documentation
  • Identify key financial, commercial and operational risks and opportunities during engagements
  • Support corporate restructuring and financial consulting assignments through data analysis and research
  • Assist in preparing proposals, pitch materials and business development documents
  • Liaise with clients and other stakeholders to obtain and analyse required information
  • Ensure assignments are completed in accordance with professional standards, firm methodologies, and regulatory requirements
  • Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary and multicultural teams to deliver high-quality client service

Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field 
  • Pursuing or recently completed FMVA, CIFA (K) or equivalent
  • Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in Audit, Transaction Advisory, Corporate Finance, Financial Consulting, or a related field
  • Exposure to financial due diligence, business valuation, financial modelling, or corporate finance assignments will be an advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modelling
  • Knowledge of data analytics tools will be an added advantage
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team
