Opportunity description

As part of the continued growth of our Advisory Department, we are seeking a motivated and results-driven professional to join our Athens office as a Supervisor.

In this role, you will become an integral member of our Advisory team, contributing across the full spectrum of the department’s services. The position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of advisory engagements while collaborating with experienced professionals in a dynamic and client-focused environment.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to develop high-quality reports and deliver practical, value-added solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as the role involves managing client relationships and executing advisory assignments, including: 

  • Business valuations
  • Business and strategic planning
  • Corporate restructuring / turnaround plans
  • Debt restructuring assessments
  • Budgeting and cash flow management
  • Operational and financial performance improvement

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare project deliverables, including methodologies, financial models, analyses, and reports for a wide range of advisory engagements.
  • Design and develop complex financial models to support strategic decision-making and address client needs.
  • Conduct market research and industry analysis to support client projects and business development initiatives.
  • Gather, analyse and interpret financial and operational data to identify key issues, diagnose root causes, and develop practical recommendations.
  • Manage and deliver small- to medium-scale projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes and effective stakeholder coordination.
  • Clearly communicate the results of business analyses, both verbally and in writing, to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Coach, mentor and support junior team members, contributing to their professional development.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing trusted advice and delivering exceptional client service.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, proactively managing priorities and escalating issues where appropriate.
  • Prepare impactful client presentations and develop compelling value propositions that effectively communicate RSM's Advisory services.
  • Support business development initiatives by participating in proposals, client pitches, thought leadership and marketing activities.

 

Opportunity requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of professional experience in Financial Advisory, Management Consulting or a related consulting environment.
  • Professional qualifications such as CFA, MBA, CIA or equivalent will be considered an asset.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with strong financial modelling capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work.
