National Public Champions of the EBA show global reach of the programme

RSM and the European Business Awards are delighted to announce the 33 National Public Champions for 2014/15 Awards programme.

Chosen from 709 businesses, the vast majority of the 33 National Public Champions export their products or services to every corner of the globe, but a large contingent of them also have offices and factories outside Europe. For example, MEDOCHEMIE, a pharmaceutical manufacturer from Cyprus has a plant in Vietnam; Ampacet Europe SA, a plastic manufacturer has sites in North and South America, Europe and Asia; and Indra, a Spanish technology multinational consultancy is seen as a leader right across Latin America.

This goes to show that being part of the programme is a great way for any business to build their brand and make global contacts. For the Awards to have attracted over 150,000 votes in the first round is incredibly impressive; the companies and people involved have clearly demonstrated they are worth voting for and must be very encouraged by such a high-level of public involvement. I believe that the attention that the Awards programme now receives around the world is testament to the quality and influence of the entrants, and RSM is very proud to be part of their journey.

The National Public Champions will now go head-to-head in a second public vote which opens today and runs until 16 April 2015, and will result in the company with the most votes being announced as the ‘European Public Champion’ at a Gala Event on 26 May 2015 in London.

The National Public Champions are listed below. Congratulations on this wonderful achievement and good luck to them all in the next stage of the competition.
