Summary of role

I started my career with RSM Ireland as a co-op (intern), then went on to the graduate programme in Consulting, specialising in Restructuring Advisory. I am now a Consultant on the Restructuring Advisory team and I manage a portfolio of insolvency assignments, including Creditors’ Voluntary Liquidations, Court Liquidations, Asset and Corporate Receiverships.

 

What’s been the highlight so far?

The highlight of my time with the firm so far was passing my last set of accountancy exams in 2022!

 

What’s been your biggest challenge so far?

Adjusting to working from home during COVID, having spent a year as a co-op in the office! RSM’s hybrid policy allows for both working from home and working in the office, so you have the best of both worlds.

 

What’s surprised you most about working at RSM?

What has surprised me most is the level of responsibility and depth of experience you gain from Day 1 at RSM Ireland. Your inputs and contributions are valued by the management team, which fosters a real team spirit.

 

What’s next for you at RSM?

I am due to qualify as a Chartered Accountant in early 2024 and look forward to applying the skills and knowledge from my studies to my portfolio of assignments.
