Bertrand Spiteri

Principal

Bertrand Spiteri is a Principal within the assurance service line of the firm. 

He has over thirty years experience within the profession and the financial services industry delivering assurance, advisory and transaction services for a variety of local and international clients.  He directs a multi-disciplined team delivering corporate finance services including capital market transactions, valuations, mergers and acquisitions support, financial modelling and other be spoke advisory engagements  across various sectors and has extensive experience in servicing client needs in complex transactions.

Bertrand trained in the United Kingdom and has worked both in Malta and abroad with big four accounting firms and is specialised in the financial services sector and GAAP accounting for complex financial instruments. Bertrand also worked for an investment bank within accounting policy, financial control and risk management, product control and structured transaction support.

Bertrand is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, a Fellow of the Malta Institute of Accountants and a Certified Public Accountant and registered auditor and currently serves on the financial services committee of the Malta Institute of Accountants.
