The following is a list of the (standard) reports that will be issued at the end of each payroll cycle.

Gross to Net Report

The gross to net is a detailed report showing each of the following payroll items for all the employees paid during the payroll period:

  • Basic pay;
  • Pre-tax adjustments;
  • Gross pay;
  • Post-tax adjustments;
  • Tax and social security contributions;
  • Voluntary deductions such as Charity Donations; and
  • Net pay

Payslips

Payslips include the following details:

  • Employer details
  • Employee details
  • Occupation title
  • Pay movements
  • Cumulative Salary
  • Leave balances

Payslips are usually provided to employees via email in pdf format. The attachment would be password protected, with the password only known by the employee and RSM staff. 

FS5 (Payer’s monthly payment advice)

On a monthly basis an FS5 form is to be submitted to the Inland Revenue Department for the declaration and payment of the tax, social security contributions and maternity leave trust fund contributions. Deadline for submission of the form together with the payment is the end of the following month.

Net pay Listing

This report shows the net amounts due to each employee for the payroll period.
