RSM, the world’s sixth largest network of independent audit, tax and consulting firms, has announced the addition of new firms in Serbia and Mozambique, expanding its presence in both Europe and Africa.

Jean Stephens, RSM International, Chief Executive Officer, comments:

“As a network, we experienced significant growth in both Europe and Africa in 2016, which demonstrates that the demand for consistently high-quality, cross-border client services is strong in both regions. The addition of our new member firms in Serbia and Mozambique will continue to drive RSM’s success in these markets in 2017 and beyond. RSM Serbia will bridge gaps in Eastern Europe while RSM Moçambique will strengthen our footprint in the East Africa region.

“These firms will help us deliver what clients want from RSM - deep local expertise and the benefit of RSM’s global reach.”

RSM Serbia, one of the ten largest auditors in Serbia is based in Belgrade, and offers audit, tax advisory, valuation, consulting and legal services. RSM Serbia has four partners and 35 staff within two entities. The firm joins RSM member firms in nearby Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Hungary, Macedonia (FYROM) and Romania as the network strengthens its position in Central and Eastern Europe.

Marko Milojević, Managing Partner from RSM Serbia said:

“Having previously been a correspondent firm of RSM we know the high calibre of RSM’s services and look forward to officially representing the network in Serbia. We are excited to collaborate with RSM colleagues across Europe and beyond to service clients around the world.”

Paulo Lopes, Managing Partner from RSM Moçambique commented:

“Joining RSM will allow us to strengthen our own services, but also to work with other members in neighbouring countries on cross-border activities. The strength of the RSM brand across Africa and globally is of real benefit to us and our clients.”

In addition, RSM is also now represented in Malawi, with a correspondent firm Audit Consult based in Blantyre.
