Following RSM’s latest announcement regarding the admission of Baker Tilly in the UK, the seventh largest global network of independent audit, tax and advisory firms has further strengthened its global presence with new representation in Slovakia, Estonia, Guatemala and Mauritius.

RSM TACOMA, the RSM member firm in the Czech Republic, has expanded its service offering in Slovakia, where the firm now provides tax, accounting, outsourcing and valuation services to clients in the country.

Monika Marečková, Managing Partner of RSM TACOMA, said: “We have recently seen an increase in the number of enquiries from Slovakia and it is important for us to address clients’ needs and requirements directly. We therefore decided to extend our service offering into Slovakia and we are delighted with the enthusiastic welcome we have received from the leaders of RSM member firms in neighbouring countries who also recognise this client need.”

RSM has also approved the membership of two long-term correspondents to the network - Guatemalan member firm, Illescas e Illescas, and Mauritian firm, Margéot & Associates. In addition, Assertum Audit OÜ in Estonia is a new correspondent to the ever-growing RSM network.

Jean Stephens, CEO of RSM International, said: “RSM’s representation in Slovakia, Estonia, Guatemala and Mauritius will be of great benefit to existing clients and our member firms globally. Our client service coverage in Slovakia and Estonia means we are closer to having full representation across Central and Eastern Europe. All of these firms bring with them the highest quality standards clients expect from RSM.”
