RSM strengthens presence in Central Europe, Mediterranean and Balkans

RSM International, one of the world's largest audit, tax and advisory networks, has admitted ‘Hodicon’ and their affiliate 'Infokorp' as a member firm in Croatia. This is part of RSM’s expansion strategy in Central Europe, Mediterranean and Balkans. The network has recently added representatives in Bulgaria and Macedonia.

Hodicon, one of Croatia's first audit companies, was established in 1993 when the first audit law was passed in the country. The firm provides a full range of audit, tax and advisory services to a varied client base.

The firm's team of 26 is spread across three offices and includes specialists with expertise in areas including property, wealth management, corporate restructuring, insolvency and forensic & transaction services.

Jean Stephens, CEO, RSM International said: "The Central Europe, Mediterranean and Balkans states are becoming increasingly important to the global business community, particularly as Croatia prepares for its entry into the European Union. In order to provide our clients with exceptional service in the region, we are pleased to admit Hodicon as a member firm. Hodicon shares RSM's emphasis on quality service, with specialist knowledge and a deep understanding of the local market."

Hodicon’s Managing Partner, Branko Tomašković, said, “We are delighted to join RSM. Our membership in RSM will help us to build upon the services we provide to businesses expanding internationally, as well as serving the needs of global organisations looking to enter or expand in this exciting region.”
