RSM Netherlands has merged with Amsterdam based accounting firm EDO Registeraccountants en Belastingadviseurs, expanding its practise in the Amsterdam area. EDO, with a head office in Oude Meer, near Schiphol Airport, employs 40 people.

RSM Netherlands, a member of RSM, the world’s sixth largest network of independent audit, tax and consulting firms, has offices in Alkmaar, Amsterdam, Haarlem and Utrecht. Clients of EDO will continue to benefit from receiving award-winning consultancy services with the added advantage of being able to draw upon the international reach of the RSM global network.

Rudolf Winkenius, CEO, RSM Netherlands said: “We are happy that EDO is joining us, as we have challenging plans for growth and are looking for compatible firms that want to actively participate in the fulfilment of these plans. EDO will be the RSM location at Schiphol, a perfect location to show our international ambition for growth.”

Edwin van Ravenswoud, Managing Partner, EDO said: “In RSM we found a partner who will enable us to solve a few of our limitations for growth, in one single action. The culture and ambitions of this firm very much appeal to us. We expect to derive maximum synergy benefits for all parties involved, and are happy to contribute to the further growth of RSM Netherlands.”
