RSM International, alongside almost 40 Member Firms, has committed to the UN Women Empowerment Principles (WEPs). The seven UN Women Empowerment Principles (WEPs) aim to empower women in the workplace, marketplace, and community.

These principles encourage businesses to promote gender equality, including equal pay, leadership opportunities, and safe working environments. By fostering gender equality, businesses can attract and retain diverse talent, improve decision-making processes, and contribute to sustainable development, specifically Sustainable Development Goal 5. Ultimately, embracing the WEPs not only benefits women but also creates a more inclusive and prosperous society.

In this video, Jean Stephens, CEO of RSM International, speaks with Anna Fälth, Global Head of the WEPs Global Secretariat at UN Women, who leads the UN Women’s Empowerment Principles. Anna shares how a business can benefit from supporting women in committing to the WEPs, enhance corporate reputation, drive innovation, and even boost financial performance.
