Jamil Akhtar

Jamil joined RSM Avais Hyder Liaquat Nauman, Chartered Accountants in 2007. Currently, he holds the position of Executive Director – Tax & Corporate Affairs.

As an Executive Director, his responsibilities include providing taxation advice, specialist tax consulting services, complying with legal and regulatory matters to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements of many RSM major clients. His field of expertise in providing tax compliances and consulting services to public and private sector organization is in the following areas:

• Taxation Advisory
• International Taxation
• Income Tax, Sales Tax and Provincial Tax
• Corporate Structuring
• Start-up Business Tax Planning
• Transfer Pricing
• Tax Litigation
• Tax Research and Development 

Moreover, he is also actively involved in the business development of the firm this includes developing and implementing strategies to attract new clients, nurturing existing client relationships and overseeing marketing initiatives.
