Biography

Clive is based in Johannesburg, South Africa and is the Regional Leader for RSM International for the Africa Region. He is responsible for developing the RSM Network within the Africa region, as well as co-ordinating referral work and services for the RSM Network into and out of the region. 

Clive is also a Director at RSM South Africa and currently Head of Risk Advisory Services for the firm. Clive has been with the firm since 1988 and has played an integral role in the development and growth of RSM South Africa, specifically in Risk Advisory, External Audit, Trusts, Due Diligence and Outsourced Accounting and Payroll Services. 

Clive’s specialities include Internal Audit, Investigation and Forensic Accounting Services, Information System Assurance, Compliance Audits and Enterprise Risk Management Consultancy. 

He has assisted many high-profile international clients with setting up their operations in South Africa and throughout the region and has helped them to implement appropriate structures to conduct operations and to mitigate risks. Clive assists with connecting companies expanding into Africa with highly skilled professionals at RSM firms throughout Africa to ensure that they receive the best advice concerning their expansion plans.

Clive lives by his own mantra; 

“Life is an adventure, so bring no fear and get out there and enjoy every moment, no matter if it is at work or play”  

In his spare time, Clive likes to get outdoors and mountain bike and play golf, which helps keep him fit and enables him to spend quality time with his friends and sons. He also prioritises time with his daughter, helping her with her catering business. In addition he likes being out in nature and spending time in the sun gardening.

Bachelor of Accountancy, Accounting, the University of the Witwatersrand – 1985 

Chartered Accountant - 1986.
