A snapshot look into 2020

2020 was an extraordinary year for us all. A year of many challenges but also of many opportunities, as the pandemic prompted the world to pause, reconsider and recalibrate. As businesses both large and small were forced to close their doors, and millions retreated into enforced isolation, we all continued to be challenged to transform our lives. For RSM, delivering on our brand promise – The Power of Being Understood – has never been more important: deeply understanding our colleagues and clients, as well as the issues they face; collaborating to support one another effectively; and applying fresh ideas and insights to rethink problems and apply new solutions. Amidst the ongoing uncertainty and the many challenges presented by the pandemic, 2020 provided us with the opportunity to seize on something positive – an opportunity to reflect, reimagine how we serve clients, increase connectivity, and intentionally shape our future both in 2021 and beyond.

Agile response to challenging year helps secure 9.2% global growth for RSM

Key highlights for 2020:

  • Global revenue up from $5.7 billion to $6.3 billion
  • Consulting revenues rise 15% as Member Firms support pandemic response
  • New Member Firms appointed in Denmark, Chile, Paraguay, Zambia and Kazakhstan
  • 12 new offices opened as global team numbers reach 48,000
