A Project Management Office (PMO) is nowadays strategically positioned as an area of support to the senior management of organizations, in order to coordinate activities relating to the administration of entrepreneurial projects.

Some PMOs focused in providing the required administrative and logistical support to Project Managers; others are in charge of fostering follow up and assessment of projects, measuring the Value Gained and Return in each investment ; and others that, in addition to the aforementioned, are also responsible for managing and implementing the project.

PMOs for strategic projects
