Leading audit, tax and consulting firm RSM Ireland has announced six senior appointments and promotions as it continues to experience exceptional growth and increased market share.


As one of Ireland’s Top 50 Great Places to Work, the investment in senior leadership reflects continued momentum following the launch of a new transatlantic partnership in January - bringing together more than 23,000 professionals across Ireland, UK, US and Canada. 

Caoimhe Neary has been appointed as tax partner specialising in the delivery of global employer services. Caoimhe joins the firm from EY and brings more than 15 years’ experience advising multinational and Irish businesses on workforce-related tax matters.

Adrian Harpur has joined from Deloitte as audit partner, bringing extensive experience delivering audit and assurance services to domestic, multinational and publicly listed companies. 

Seán McCarthy who joined the firm as a trainee in 2014 has also been promoted to tax partner specialising in advising large multinational and private equity-backed businesses on corporate tax structuring, intellectual property planning, financing and M&A transactions. 

In addition, Anita Valenti has joined the firm from GT as an audit director, bringing extensive international experience advising multinational organisations and SMEs across Ireland, the UK, Europe and Asia. James Peyton has been promoted to director in the corporate finance team, bringing more than a decade of experience advising business owners and management teams throughout the full M&A lifecycle.

Valerie Dwyer has also joined from Deloitte as marketing and growth director to support the firm’s strategic commercial priorities, market positioning and client engagement programmes.
