WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO ENHANCE AND DISSEMINATE PROFESSIONAL SKILLS
Enhancing the professional skills of its employees also means proactively responding to competitive challenges and increasingly frequent changes in the business model.
Training is a valid response to various needs:
INCREASING KNOWLEDGE AND DEVELOPING SKILLS
Developing the skills of one's employees means giving them the means to perform increasingly varied tasks and, on the other hand, training them with good tools and high-level knowledge.
IMPLEMENT CONTROL AND VERIFICATION SYSTEMS
Implementing a quality audit process as well as regular and traceable control of knowledge and what one knows how to do (whether inspired or prescribed by a law, a regulation, a model or an internal code of conduct) is for many companies an absolute priority that often entails civil and criminal liability profiles for directors and managers.
MINIMISE THE EFFECTS OF OUTGOING MOBILITY
There are numerous cases, due to factors both internal and external to the company, where the mobility of key figures within a function can undermine the organisation's efforts to meet certain standards and/or be compliant with processes that ensure quality and continuity of service. All of this pushes companies to train the incoming personnel from scratch, generating stress, discouragement, additional costs and an inescapable loss of quality.
Our Services
RSM has developed a specific professional training model, SPICE Learning, based on cognitive and constructivist approaches.
The model uses a web platform that provides a flexible and customisable method for developing content and is founded on two key concepts: learning and applying.
The learning phase is designed to build knowledge and skills through theory, supported by practical examples and business cases, in order to better understand the business environment and the responsibilities inherent in a specific function. It therefore develops understanding and subject knowledge.
The application phase is aimed at turning knowledge into practical capability. Through gamification and interaction with progressively more complex real business cases, learners refine their skills so that they can establish themselves within the organisation and contribute to its development. The result is the direct acquisition of a set of “liquid” skills and knowledge that can be immediately applied in day-to-day business activity.
Our e-learning platform makes it possible to ensure optimal staff training, reduce the costs of training processes, and guarantee a precise and structured verification of courses completed and skills acquired. At the end of each module, a certificate is issued confirming participation in the course as well as the level of competence achieved. Courses are fully customisable according to your specific requirements and objectives.
Our operating system is based on a holistic approach focused on three objectives:
Performance
It is now widely recognised that distance professional learning is more effective than traditional training. This is due to the fact that course participants:
- learn according to their own abilities and pace;
- can adapt the order in which they study course elements to suit their needs;
- can attend courses whenever and wherever they choose;
- can review and explore certain topics in greater depth whenever they wish;
- can receive training tailored to their specific profile;
- avoid unnecessary time loss and can focus on the topics they need to acquire and develop.
Empowerment
The training path is designed to facilitate personal growth by enhancing individual capabilities, self-awareness, and control over one’s own choices, decisions and actions.
Compliance
Our system provides a detailed report for all participants in each training module, covering attendance, assessment, critical issues and results. This reporting is fully suitable for demonstrating to authorities or certification bodies that the relevant information has been communicated to staff and/or that the required skills have actually been acquired.
GDPR
GDPR training for staff is a legal obligation. Regulation (EU) No. 679/2016 defines privacy training as a mandatory security measure for all companies and public administrations that intend for their employees and collaborators to process personal data.
The privacy training plan must therefore include specific and differentiated programmes for the Data Protection Officer (DPO), Data Processor / Data Processing Manager, System Administrator, and Authorised Person for Data Processing.
Failure to provide privacy training is considered a breach of the law and is subject to an administrative fine of up to €20,000,000 or 4% of group turnover.
Cybersecurity Framework & Risk Analysis
The complexity and pervasiveness of new regulations and technologies create threats and opportunities in the economic and business landscape. These can be managed from the outset through the use of advanced frameworks capable of addressing both traditional and emerging risks, thereby helping Internal Audit and other business functions optimise their time.
Standards are no longer conceived as rules to be followed passively with the sole, costly objective of compliance. Rather, they are tools to be used intelligently and systematically in order to achieve the real objective: reducing the frequency and severity of incidents and irregularities through a model optimised for the context in which the company operates.
Integrated Regulatory Compliance from a GRC Perspective
Today more than ever, companies must adapt to increasingly stringent regulations that are not always coordinated with one another. Pursuing compliance through silo-based models is a cost that no one can afford any longer. Integrated compliance is therefore not only a challenge, but above all a necessity in order to combine performance, cost savings and law enforcement.
When viewed as an opportunity to organise control frameworks more effectively and coordinate the different professional functions involved, it can provide added value in risk management and in the design and assessment of controls. This is achieved through the development of a framework that embraces the various requirements imposed by different regulations, such as Legislative Decree 262/05, Legislative Decree 231/01, GDPR, Bank of Italy Circular 285, and others.
Web Reputation Risk & Social Media
Cyberspace is the constantly evolving environment in which information and content are disseminated and shared. This enables fast and disruptive communication mechanisms based on tools that are easy to use and engaging, but which nevertheless require timely decisions in order to manage these new flows properly.
While the web offers significant opportunities to enhance brand value, it also introduces new factors of vulnerability and risk, often related to corporate reputation and the security of critical information. It is therefore necessary to adopt a governance, management and response model that is appropriately calibrated to minimise the business impact of any “undesired effects”.
