Christine Taaje

Christine has worked with international tax law for more than 7 years. She came from the position as International Tax Manager in the renewable company Scatec ASA, and prior to that held a position as international tax advisor in EY’s lawfirm.

Christine has assisted multiple large international groups within sectors like renewables, oil and gas, shipping, technology and private equity, and with particular focus on issues related to structuring, reorganizations and the participation exemption method/NOKUS. She also has a lot of experience with tax treaties as well as cross-border transactions.

Within the renewable energy sector, Christine has international experience with tax clauses relevant to development- and construction contracts, with focus on structuring, project financing, power purchase agreements and renewable energy certificates (GO’s / IREC’s).

In addition, Christine has experience with establishing and operating companies and businesses, particularly from an international perspective.  

Christine has a Master’s in Law from the University of Oslo from 2012, and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the California Lutheran University from 2015.
