What did you do before coming to RSM Switzerland?

I completed a bachelor’s degree at HEC Lausanne followed by a master’s degree in economic law at the University of Lausanne.

Then I worked at KPMG in the Corporate Tax department for 4 years. I started as an intern and ended up as a Senior Consultant.

Afterwards, I was hired at RSM Switzerland as an Assistant Manager in July 2020 and I had the opportunity to be quickly promoted to the rank of Manager.

What did you do before coming to RSM Switzerland?

The Big 4 are highly sectorised and specialised because of their size; however, as they are very large companies, it is difficult to stand out as an employee.

“At RSM Switzerland, I felt that I could be an influential person and that I could contribute my ideas and put them into practice.”

Also, thanks to the culture and structure of RSM, I felt that I would have the opportunity to have more variety in my tasks and  it would enable me to get out of my comfort zone.

This was proven particularly useful as I believe it is partly what allowed me to acquire the knowledge that was crucial in the preparation of my tax expertise certification.

What has been your favourite experience at RSM Switzerland?

I like how it works internally. I am lucky enough to be able to say that “I have fun” while working. I am much more autonomous in my work at RSM Switzerland compared to my previous experiences. My superiors let me manage my mandates with my team the way I see fit. That's what I was really looking for, and I could feel it immediately during the interview process.

Another element to highlight is the fact that RSM Switzerland also organises a lot of events outside the office, which promotes cohesion and allows us to get to know our colleagues better.

What would you tell someone who might be considering a career at RSM Switzerland?

Only positive things. In a company the size of RSM Switzerland, you are able to know your colleagues much better, compared to our larger competitors. At RSM Switzerland, you can develop your ideas better, and the diversity of the work is a big plus. You also have the opportunity to work with other departments, which ultimately enables us to deliver more holistic services and a stronger client experience.

Outside of RSM Switzerland, who are you? What are your passions?

I play a lot of Unihockey, and I am very much involved in the life of the club I play in. I am part of the committee as VP and technical director.
