What did you do before coming to RSM Switzerland?

Before joining RSM, I did a bachelor’s degree in management and then a master's degree in finance at the University of Lausanne in the HEC section. At the end of my studies, I moved to France to work for a real estate finance company.

I have always been attracted to corporate finance and, after my experience in France, I had the opportunity to do several internships in private equity in investment funds before joining RSM Switzerland and the Corporate Finance department in May 2022.

What attracted you to work in the field of audit, tax, and consulting?

I have always been fascinated by the world of entrepreneurship, and I also had a particular interest in maths, so I went into finance, consulting and direct investment, which led me to study in this field and join RSM in Switzerland a few years later.

What has been your favourite experience at RSM Switzerland?

Finding one in particular is difficult, but I find that we have a real impact through the advice we pass on to our clients. What's more, the Partners and Managers are very close and available to us. Importantly,  we also have direct contact with our clients, even as a junior, which wouldn't necessarily be the case in the Big 4.

How would you describe the daily work of your department?

We meet every Monday morning to take stock of our mandates and also to share out our projects.  We have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects and can work both independently and as part of a team, depending on the size of the project.

How do you see your professional future?

My aim is to continue to develop myself and grow through experience, to remain in the investment field in order to support entrepreneurs with their strategic thinking and, particularly, their transaction strategy.

What would you say to anyone who might be considering a career at RSM Switzerland?
We are lucky to be in a company that's still on a 'human scale', so we get to work in small teams, allowing us to see the impact of our actions, but also to have a more family-like feel than in larger companies.
What is more, the diversity of tasks is a real plus, meaning that even in junior positions we can take on more varied tasks and responsibilities than in larger companies where this would be less the case.

“The human approach is very strong, with a great deal of collaboration between departments.”

Outside of RSM Switzerland, who are you? What are your passions?

I get a lot out of nature, especially the mountains. I make the most of these open-air playgrounds to practise my sports, particularly skiing, trail running, climbing and mountaineering. I also enjoy being able to take advantage of Lake Geneva and the summer weather with friends.
