Today, RSM staff around the world are celebrating the fifth RSM World Day. This annual global event provides us with an opportunity to take some time out and reflect on where we are, how far we have come in the past year and to look forward to what’s coming next. It is a chance for the staff in our firms to get to know one another better, and to spend time learning more about the RSM global network whilst strengthening their connections with their clients and in their communities.

Since all RSM firms came together under a single global brand almost one year ago, I believe that our perspectives have changed and our common shared purpose has become stronger and more resilient. We have always had solid bonds, based on trust and respect, and these continue to strengthen as we do more business together serving our clients around the world.

RSM World Day is the perfect outlet to celebrate our unity and our valued relationships. Through a wide variety of different activities all around the world, staff in many of the 120 countries where RSM is represented, will celebrate RSM’s core values of collaborative working, deep individual understanding, and insight sharing for our clients’ benefit. Through the vast array of activities – be it charity or community work, client events or staff teambuilding activities, breakfasts, lunches, dinners or parties – we are strengthening our internal relationships whilst at the same time reaching out to our wider communities to understand what is really important to them and to give back through extensive charity work.

I’m extremely proud of the events and activities that our member firms have undertaken for RSM World Day over the past five years. I want to congratulate and thank each of them for proudly displaying the core ideals that makes RSM such a unique global network.
