European Business Awards

Dubrovnik is one of the most beautiful cities on the Adriatic coast. It is therefore the scene for Game of Thrones, a fictive medieval battle between seven Kingdoms for ultimate power. The battle between 33.000 European companies had its highlight in this wonderful city.

On May 4th, the final gala of the European Business Awards took place in Dubrovnik. This award is probably the biggest business contest in the world. The total turnover of the subscribing companies exceeds the GDP of the Benelux. Winning a Ruban d’Honneur medal or even better, an award, is an outstanding performance. Four SME companies who represented the Netherlands received the Ruban d’Honneur medal during the gala in Dubrovnik; Amoria Bond, Avanca International, Calco and Icecat.

In the Netherlands we have some prestigious business prices. So why would you still compete in the European Business Awards? To answer this question I need to tell more about the aim of the awards. The European Business Awards’ primary purpose is to support the development of a stronger and more successful business community throughout Europe. In order to build prosperity for all citizens of Europe, social and healthcare systems are relying on businesses to create an even stronger, more innovative, successful, international and ethical business community - one that forms the beating heart of an increasingly globalized economy. If the Dutch Kingdom is too small for your company, your next step will be to join this competition. There were over 250.000 public votes and international press reached over 50 million business people all over Europe.

Besides the above, you enter a new community, which gives you access to investors, international consultants, potential business partners and clients necessary to grow your business. You experience the differences in business culture all over Europe. RSM sponsors the awards in cooperation with the London Stock Exchange, PR Newswire (a European press agency) and SDL, a translation agency.

Do you want your ticket to the European Market; please join the European Business Awards 2018, on www.businessawardseurope.com. And you will compete, like the families in Game of Thrones, also outside your own kingdom..
