The Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) is a new border levy on CO2 emissions levied at the EU border, which is also subject to a reporting requirement. Does your company import products or components made of cement, iron, steel, aluminum, fertilizers, hydrogen or electricity? If so, you may be subject to this new obligation.

The deadline for the first quarterly report is January 31. It is advised to file the report on time to avoid risks and penalties. If you (potentially) fall under this obligation, watch our informational video informing you about the basic requirements of CBAM.
