Brexit will impact many middle market businesses around the world, notably with those that have supply chains or that move goods/services between EU countries and the UK. Value Added Tax (VAT) or indirect tax is a key topic that businesses will require guidance in order to prepare for the many possible outcomes of Brexit negotiations. RSM will be hosting two webinars on 7 March: ‘Brexit and the impact on VAT’.

With only a few weeks to go and still no sign of a deal many tax authorities and businesses alike are preparing for a ‘No-Deal’ Brexit. This will have a critical and fundamental impact on companies that have trading relationships between the UK and the EU. Although there is still uncertainty, we have collated information from RSM member firms in the EU and from tax authority announcements to compile a latest view of the most practical guidance we consider we can provide at this stage.

Liesbeth de Groot is on behalf of the Netherlands in the panel of VAT specialists, who give their views on how the various countries are preparing for the Brexit.
