First building block announced - Huapu Tianjian Certified Public Accountants LLP (Huapu Tianjian) joins the RSM network.
RSM, the leading global network of audit, tax and consulting firms focused on the middle market, has announced the first stage in a wider growth plan which will ultimately see the creation of one of the top 10 audit, tax and consulting providers in the Chinese market. The first stage of this plan is to admit Chinese firm, Huapu Tianjian Certified Public Accountants LLP (Huapu Tianjian), to its global network. Huapu Tianjian brings national market insight and strong client service capabilities in the areas of audit, tax, risk advisory and consulting. Headquartered in Beijing, the new member firm comprises 1,733 staff and 54 partners across ten offices and seven provinces covering major economic centres in mainland China.
Huapu Tianjian has a solid strategy for building on its already expansive geographical footprint and intends to open a series of new offices across mainland China. The Firm will supplement strong organic growth with a robust merger programme planned in the near future. Its integrated approach and one-firm strategy means clients will receive consistent, high-quality services across the country. Admitting Huapu Tianjian is the first part of RSM’s accelerated growth plan for China with the ultimate objective of becoming the dominant middle-market service provider in China.
With an international corporate and middle market client base across shipping, real estate, food and beverage and professional services, Huapu Tianjian will bring considerable expertise to RSM’s cross-border client base. It is also very strong in the Chinese IPO and securities markets which are expected to grow significantly over the next few years. The Firm’s International Division will become an important hub for RSM clients around the world eager to take advantage of China’s rapidly growing market. In addition, this team will be joined by professionals from RSM’s previous member firm, ensuring effective integration of international desk activities and the seamless continuation of services to existing clients.
