Global Leader - Quality and Risk

Biography

Bob Dohrer is the Global Leader - Quality & Risk for RSM, based primarily in RSM's Global Executive Office in London.  He has overall responsibility for the network’s audit and other attest services policies, procedures and guidance.  Bob is also responsible for overseeing RSM’s global quality inspection programs in accordance with International Standards on Quality Control.  

Prior to joining RSM in March 2012, Bob served as McGladrey & Pullen, LLP’s National Director of Assurance Services and International Assurance Services Practice Leader and served a broad range of clients, including listed companies.  McGladrey is the US member firm of RSM International.  Bob has twenty-five years of experience in public accounting, all with RSM International and McGladrey.

Bob is a member of the US American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), where he serves on the International Auditing Standards Task Force.  He also is chairman of the AICPA Assurance Services Executive Committee.  He is a former member of the AICPA Auditing Standards Board.  Internationally, Bob is the chairperson of the Forum of Firms. 

Bob graduated from the University of South Dakota with a Master of Professional Accountancy degree and from Black HillsStateUniversity with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting.
