Simon Hart
Brexit lead partner and head of knowledge management


Simon heads our knowledge management operation and is RSM’s lead Brexit partner. He is both an auditor and a business advisor with experience across many sectors and services, with a specialisation in the charities arena. He provides strategic leadership to our knowledge management and knowledge sharing function, working towards aligning the various advisory services we offer to the business requirements of our clients and is also responsible for coordinating and leading our Brexit related insight and material.

Simon’s previous roles within RSM are varied, from working in London, northern home counties and until March 2016, Birmingham and the Midlands.

Between April 2006 and March 2016 he was managing partner of the RSM Birmingham office, from 2011 he was also the regional audit managing partner and from 2013 the regional managing partner for our central region. Between 2000 and 2004 he led our charities group.

Simon has advised on the structure and strategic direction of a large charitable group; worked on a DEFRA commissioned report into Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy and scrapie testing and control processes and generally helped numerous businesses achieve their ambitions and aims.
