Join us for the third installment of our online webinar series on building resilience 

Our guest speaker for this webinar is Chris Tennent-Brown, Senior Econimist at ASB. Chris will provide an economic update on how New Zealand is going as we continue to deal with the challenges and opportunities of the COVID pandemic.

Chris will provide some insights from the June quarterly outlook that was released early September. He will also look at how we are heading coming into Election and what we should look out for in the local and global economy a we head into 2021.

Introducing Chris Tennent-Brown:

Chris joined the Commonwealth Bank’s Global Research team in 2005, and has worked as an economist for both ASB and CBA in Auckland and Sydney. Chris’s work has involved in monitoring and forecasting trends in the New Zealand economy, with a focus on drawing implications for financial markets and investments.   

Chris obtained a Bachelor of Commence degree at Auckland University, majoring in economics. 

Prior to joining the Commonwealth Bank and ASB, Chris worked in the funds management industry, for Bankers Trust, BT Funds Management and ASB Group Investments.

Chris has spent over 20 years working in the financial sector. Beyond this experience in finance, Chris spent several years farming, and was a New Zealand representative cyclist. In his spare time Chris likes cooking, reading, gardening and flying.
