Steve Young is a partner in the Auckland office. Steve specialises in working with clients to grow their businesses, improve profits and boost their cashflow. This involves planning and forecasting, then working with the owners to develop and implement practical steps to get them where they want to be. His client experience includes service companies, franchisors/franchisees, cartage operators, importers, manufacturers and retailers to name a few.
A particular area Steve often receives feedback on is his ability to provide innovative ideas and solutions to assist in client marketing, strategy and growth. Combined with his very level headed approach, Steve has gained the confidence of a number of clients who see him as an invaluable addition to their own management.
Steve also advises on structures for tax planning and asset protection. Earlier in his career Steve worked in insolvency, meaning he is well equipped to help great businesses protect themselves from harm. In his own words, Steve's aim is to help business owners sleep really well.
Outside work, Steve enjoys reading, keeping fit, spending time with his wife and twin boys, plus anything that takes him outdoors – especially fishing. He is also involved in a local church and community trust.
