In the ever-changing landscape of commercial real estate, it can be difficult to know where to invest; when to sell and what to buy.

In partnership with Nyenrode Business University, we have created the RSM European Real Estate Guide  to provide European investors with an overview on real estate tax levies in seventeen countries.

The guide follows the real estate cycle from acquiring, holding and selling commercial real estate that is held, directly or indirectly (e.g. through shares), by domestic or foreign natural persons and legal entities. Real estate can be held through a variety of structural entities such as registered and privately held corporations, investment funds, partnerships and trusts which is discussed in detail.

Please note this guide is designed to provide general information only and does not constitute professional advice. For more specific information, please call an RSM adviser.

We hope this guide provides you with a snapshot of information to help you consider your next steps and if you would like to explore in more detail, please contact one of our dedicated European Real Estate team advisers to benefit from tailored specialist tax knowledge.
