Initial screening

Each application is reviewed and screened. If you meet the requirements, additional questions
may be asked relating to your skills, experience and qualifications before an interview is
scheduled.

Interview process | RSM South Africa

Interview process

A virtual interview will take place to discover your strengths and give you the opportunity to ask
any questions . We encourage you to do your research and be able to explain why you want to
join the RSM team. Additional information may be requested after the interview to assist in the
selection process.

The offer | RSM South Africa

The offer

A pre-employment check will be conducted on each candidate before proceeding to the final
stage of the application.
If a candidate successfully completes the interview process, they will be sent a written offer of
employment.

On-boarding process

Your employment at RSM will commence with an induction programme to get you up to speed
on the RSM processes and procedures. We also want to ensure that you fully understand who
we are, what we stand for and what is expected from you.
From here, you will begin working with the audit team and gaining practical experience with
clients. As a Trainee Accountant, you will continue to receive extensive training throughout
your training contract to help you develop and reach your full potential.
